Individual Sessions

Flute/Singing Lessons as a Holistic/Spiritual Journey - unique one-to-one lessons to learn to play the flute and/or develop your singing voice and general musicianship as an extension of your soul energy and expressing your creative self naturally through your music. No beliefs necessary. I believe music should either be fun, exquisite or profound. Of course we will cover all the technical stuff as well, but always mindfully with a view to learning about ourselves in the process. If you wish to progress through examinations this is possible too. Available in the Winchester/Basignstoke/Portsmouth areas. I travel to your home. £35 per hour plus fuel costs further afield. £20 per half hour plus fuel costs for locations further afield

Meditation Training/ Spiritual Guidance - Profound spiritual techniques from a variety of yogic and philosophical backgrounds to help you learn to meditate and develop spiritually. Available by Skype worldwide or in the Winchester/Basinstoke/Portsmouth areas. £35 per hour, plus fuel costs if applicable.

From time to time I offer fun & profound arts & spiritual workshops/classes in the South of the UK (and occasionally overseas), sometimes in collaboration with other amazing teachers/facilitators, incorporating singing, easy music making for all, intuitive art, yoga, movement, dance, meditation & spiritual instruction depending on the aim of each specific workshop ~ If you would like to stay up-to-date with news of upcoming events, or to book a workshop for a group in the South of the UK or elsewhere, then do get in touch via email: alexia@alexiamagdalena.com

All the 'Arts' are basically self-expression and inspired use of creative energy. If someone says they are not artistic then this is a lie that they have been led to believe. If someone can talk and write and express themselves in any way, then they are artistic. They just do not realise what their art-form is and how to develop it. This is a shame and a big shortfall of modern society. We are all creators since we are made of pure creative energy. Young children are naturally creative and expressive, yet the natural artistic inclinations tend to get dulled though fear of ridicule or through having to create within a narrow culturally-accepted framework. However despite early conditioning, it is impossible to go through life without expressing ourselves and using our creativity. The more one gets in touch with their inner selves through spiritual growth and natural living, the more this creative energy flows and finds natural outlets for expression. I guess this is why I am passionate about the work I do because it facilitates an opening to this deeper part of ourselves that many of us have blocked through modern living. To be creative is to be you; pure creation energy!

Women's Singing Circle, Friday 6th May 7-10pm 2016

Set in a beautiful cosy yurt complete with woodburner, at Night Pastures near Fernhurst (picture of the yurt above), amongst wonderful nature energy, we will sing for two hours roughly from 7pm and afterwards share food - please bring some food to share if you wish to partake of the latter. There will be a mixture of rounds and harmonised songs from around the world as well as some easy improvisation, vocal exercises and warm-ups. We will also explore some meditation and relaxation. There will be some instruments/drums available for those who wish to use them (feel free to bring your own acoustic instruments too) and there will be the option of exploring movement to sound if that appeals to you. All in a warm atmosphere of acceptance and non-judgement. No beliefs or experience necessary - there are no wrong sounds! This is all about exploring your own form of self-expression, creativity and energy with like-minded souls. And having fun! By the way, you might want to bring wellies for walking across the field.
